hidden villa

Hidden Villa is a 1600-acre farm and wilderness preserve in Los Altos Hills. For over 50 years it has operated programs teaching environmental and multicultural awareness.

I have been revamping their graphic design from their older, more “loving hands” style while at the same time being sensitive to their environmental and budget needs. This is a non-profit so it can’t be spending a ton of money on printing. It is also an environmental organization so it needs to have a certain green look as well as efficiently using paper and other resources.

selected projects

Below are samples of much of the work I have done for Hidden Villa since 2005. Some of these are folded brochures, others are booklets, and there are other types of work as well. For the most part, I try to limit the design so it uses only two inks—often just two of the process inks for maximum flexibility—but sometimes the job needs full-color CMYK printing.
