project details

This project has the same requirements as the previous year’s report AND it has to look sufficiently different. At least they changed the format a little so it’s no longer the program-by-program brag sheet it once was.

This time, they formatted it by following their mission statement:

Inspiring a just and sustainable future through our programs, land, and legacy.
I used this to drive the design, emphasizing their mission statement again throughout the document.

I did the same sort of multi-ink stuff I did before, but biased it more toward the brown than the green this time. I also thoroughly confused the printer—I guess he didn’t notice all the extra trapping until the job was on press, at which point he assumed it was a mistake and “fixed” it for me. Needless to say, I’m not too impressed with him now, especially since he also managed to delete the white rules on the front cover. And no, I never saw a proof.
