This card was to be a low quantity-mailer. Since Hidden Villa had no printer in mind when I got the job, I designed the piece as a two-color job using just Process Cyan and Process Black.

That way it could be ganged onto a large press, full-color gangrun; run by itself on a small, two-color press; or run digitally without having to worry about spot-color conversion. Hidden Villa could then send the specs to pretty much any printer and choose the lowest bid.
